We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God,

And is the final authority for faith and practice.

We believe in the unity and trinity of God, eternally existing as three equal persons.

We believe God was incarnate in the person of Jesus Christ

And that He was fully divine and fully human.

We believe that humans though created in God's image are fallen

            And that all have sinned,

And suffer broken relationships with God, others, and self.

We believe that eternal salvation and restored relationships are possible

only through faith in Jesus Christ who died for us,

rose from the dead, and is coming again.

We believe Jesus died for all and offers salvation to all people.

We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in salvation,

And that He is present in power in the life of all who believe.

We believe that salvation in Christ restores the equality and essential dignity

of men and women of all races, ages, and classes

And that all who believe in Christ are called to image that equality

in the Church, and in the home, and in society.

We believe that men and women are to diligently develop and use

their God-given gifts for the good of the home, church and society.

We believe in the family, celibate singleness, and faithful heterosexual marriage

as God's design.

We believe that, as mandated by the Bible, the Church of Christ is called

to spread the word that Jesus is Lord,

to share His love and care with people in need,

and to work for justice for all.
